Hi, and welcome! If you’re here to find out a little more about me and my books, then you’re in the right place.
My name is Lyndsey, I’m 33 and I live in Nottinghamshire, England with my husband, our son and our two German Shorthaired Pointers.
My day job is marketing for an accounting firm, and involves everything from writing search engine optimised web copy, and ghost writing business books, to creating targeted marketing campaigns using email and social media. Every day is different and I get to work with some brilliant marketers and creatives, whilst also learning about finance and business almost by osmosis. It’s a pretty perfect day job for a self publishing author!
As a reader, I personally love YA fantasy, as well as thrillers, crime, horror, historical fiction and the odd bit of contemporary and romance. I try to review most of the books I read here, so search for your favourite genre to find my review posts.
My favourite book series of all time are Harry Potter, The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas and A Darker Shade of Magic by V. E. Schwab.
About My Books
I write YA fantasy novels filled with adventure and magic, and a little dash of romance. My debut novel, THE FAIR QUEEN, was released on 31 August 2020, and book two is coming January 2022. Follow me on Instagram or join my Facebook group Lyndsey Hall’s Fair Folk if you want to read snippets and see aesthetics and enter my giveaways!
I also have a short story, DAUGHTER OF THE SELKIE KING, in an anthology of YA water-fantasy tales, ENCHANTED WATERS. Visit my Books page to find out more about my published works and upcoming projects.
